Pasture Boarding

We have pasture available here at our ranch in Clearmont, Wyoming.  Our alpacas are run in a open pasture setting either in the female/cria or gelding/herdsire pasture.  Our pastures range in size from 87 to 320 acres and we rotate the boys through several pasture during the year.

If you would be interested in boarding your alpaca at our place we charge $20.00 per animal per month during the months of April, May, June, July, August and September.  During the winter months, when we are feeding everyone once a day, we charge $40.00 per animal per month.

During the winter months animals are kept closer to the barn with hay and shelter provided.

Animals need to be able to interact and get along with other animals.  There is plenty of room for animals to have their own little "herd" that grazes separately from other.

We do have a separate small area to put animals who need to be introduced slowly to a community setting.

Boarder is required to accept the liability of pasture boarding which involves potential fighting with other alpacas and also potential predetation hazards.  We have never had a problem with either of these situations and we have been raising alpacas since 2000, but boarders need to be aware of the risks.
